FAQ
Q1: Can the cot fold back to its original factory size after being opened?
Yes! The Redcamp cot is designed for true portability. After full setup, it folds back easily to its original compact size, small enough to fit into the included carry bag. You can store it in your car trunk, closet, or under the bed without taking up space — just like when it first arrived from the factory.
Q2: Is it suitable for tall or plus-size adults?
Absolutely. This cot is built for tall and heavy users.
Height suitability: up to 6 ft 6 in (198 cm).
Q3: How easy is it to set up and pack away?
Setup takes less than 10 seconds — no tools required. Just unfold the steel frame, and it locks securely in place. When finished, fold it back into the included carry bag for effortless transport or storage.
Customers praised this extra wide camping cot as "sturdy and comfortable" with excellent quality. Many appreciated the easy setup and generous width. However, some noted comfort concerns for extended use, recommending a pad topper. One customer questioned frame solidity vs. weight rating, and another wanted a locking mechanism.
- I love everything about it from how it opens and folds up, so easy.
- Great cot, very stable. Used 4" memory foam pad topper and slept well.
- Game changers for us, they are sturdy and comfortable. Worth the money.

Frame does not feel as solid as weight rating is claimed to hold. It is great size and soft to lay on, could be used with out any padding.

IT WOULD BE SUPERIOR LIKELY TO OTHERS OUT THERE IF THERE WAS A LOCKING MECHANISM, SOMETHING LIKE IS ON A FLODING TABLE ! ANY LIFT TO SLIGHTLY RE-LOCATE CAUSES IT TO FOLD!

Green -Extra Wide / 1-pack
I love everything about it from how it opens and folds up, so easy. I bought it for when the grandkids stay the night,it's wide enough so when they roll around I don't have to worry about them falling off it. Now just have to wait to check out the comfort of it, and I'm sure it will meet the kids standards. The shipping time was fast too. Thank You for making a great cot.

Haven’t slept on it yet. Was comfortable laying on it. Hoping it will be what I’m looking for when I sleep on it for a few nights.

This product is large and very sturdy. I am a big guy 6'0 270LBS, so I needed a cot that I was comfortable would be able to hold my weight and be long enough that my legs weren't hanging off. This fit both of those criteria. My one complaint would be comfort. I'm the type of person that could put my head on a tile floor and fall asleep within a few minutes. I had a hard time falling asleep on this cot. It is just not comfortable. I saw that they sell a mattress topper for it, and I may try that down the line. Regardless it's nice to have a cot available at work for those late nights when it doesn't make sense to drive all the way home. If you're a large person, I have no doubt this cot will hold up to the specified weight.

These were game changers for us, now we can camp and not worry about an air mattress that goes flat in the middle of the night. They are sturdy and comfortable. Worth the money

Comfortable for short use but after a while it will hurt your back, definitely recommend getting the pad that lays on top if you’re thinking of using it long term or even for more then just a day. It’s super easy to open, but closing still is a struggle every once in a while and I’ve had it for about 3 years. But the flip side to it is that once it’s open it’s sturdy and won’t close up on you or anything like that.
